The Orange County Great Strides fundraiser, held annually, is a beacon of hope in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis (CF). On May 20th, 2023, at 10:00 AM sharp, at Huntington Beach State Park, participants gathered for a meaningful 5k walk. This event, orchestrated by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, aims to raise vital funds for ongoing research toward finding a cure for CF, a genetic disease affecting countless individuals worldwide.
Among the spirited participants were Nancy and Casey from Team Enterprise Security, led by Nancy herself as team captain. With enthusiasm and determination, they embarked on the walk, symbolizing solidarity with those battling CF. Their dedication, alongside generous contributions from team members, amassed over $2600 in donations.
But this event wasn't just about walking—it was about collective action, about community. While sign-ups on the Great Strides website facilitated participation, the spirit of giving transcended physical presence. Monetary donations poured in, each one a step closer to the ultimate goal: a cure for CF.
